We have been awarded a grant by SWOT to launch our project:

This is very special because SWOT only gives two education grants each year: & we have ONE
We will give half of the grant to each community on our atoll
OMOKA & TETAUTUA
We wil have training courses in each village, so that our teams know how to collect important honu data. Also how to manage the funds and write project reports. We will also produce teaching resources in our local language: these do not exist.
We thank everyone who is helping us to start a great community project.
